PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Motunrayo is a key member of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology team that provides legal support and advisory services to MTN Nigeria Communications Limited on a variety of issues in relation to the operation of its business. She also counsels leading multinational companies, including Microsoft Corporation, on the regulatory and legal framework for the provision and operation of business solutions, hardware and software applications, data retention and transfers, and the requirement of services in local languages. She advises Google, Bango and Docusign on Nigerian regulatory matters, interconnection agreements and the procurement of telecommunications licences and permits. She also has significant experience on data protection matters and has provided legal advice to the National Information Technology Development Agency on the Nigerian data protection guidelines in line with other jurisdictions such as the EU, UK and South Africa.
