The Bankole Olumide Aluko (“BOA”) 5-A-Side Football Tournament, otherwise known as the Lawyers’ League, is a yearly football tournament set up to commemorate the life of the late BOA, a founding Partner of Aluko & Oyebode.
BOA was reputed as a fine gentleman with admirable legal standards, who was obsessively passionate about football.
Aluko & Oyebode has celebrated BOA with other colleagues in the legal profession through the BOA Tournament, a platform to promote team spirit and camaraderie amongst legal professionals in Nigeria.
The BOA Tournament is organised as a 5-a-Side (Lawyers Only) League Format Tournament and over the years, an average of 16 law firms have participated in the tournament.
This year marks the 13th Edition of the BOA Tournament, which kicks off at 3pm on Sunday 1st March 2015 at Astroturf 2000 Ikoyi.
