Ayodeji Oyetunde



Practice Focus and Experience

Ayodeji Oyetunde is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice group of Aluko & Oyebode.

His main areas of practice are Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt/Equity Capital Markets, and Corporate Restructurings. He provides advice to the Firm’s clients principally on mergers & acquisitions, debt/equity capital market transactions, divestitures, corporate restructurings and regulatory compliance.

He also provides advice on an on-going basis on various finance, shipping, aviation, insurance, oil & gas and privatisation transactions. He has been involved in the provision of legal advice to various local and international clients on compliance with the provisions of Nigerian law and the drafting and review of various transactional documents.

He graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB honours) and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. In addition, he has a Masters degree in Corporate Commercial Law from the University College London where he was the recipient of the John Carr Faculty of Laws Scholarship Award.

Ayodeji is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
