Tomilola is a core member of the Capital Market, M & A, and Private Equity practice areas.
She advises on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital market, corporate restructuring, private equity transactions, governance, and ESG across many sectors including consumer goods and manufacturing, financial institutions, Tech Startups, health care, and Pharmaceuticals. She routinely advises both local and international clients including, investors, shareholders, boards of directors, joint venture partners, and startups.
Tomilola has over a decade of experience, mitigating commercial risks in transactions, offering practical solutions to large corporates and emerging companies through the lifecycle of transactions - from strategy and choice of transaction structure to post-transaction issues including the integration of sustainability systems. As a business advisory professional, Tomilola is not only interested in a client’s immediate capital raising or restructuring transaction but seeks to help clients see how their transactions will fit into the larger sustainability objectives of their business.
She recently advised a commercial bank in connection with its ₦100 billion (approximately US$219,298,245) private credit fund programme, which is the first in Nigeria. The objective of the credit fund is to ensure sustained economic development in Nigeria by providing corporate organizations that have impact-oriented projects in selected areas of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the appropriate debt instruments.
