We are pleased to announce the admission of Ajibola Asolo, an alumnus, into the Partnership of Aluko & Oyebode, with effect from 1 June 2021.
Ajibola, who is joining our Capital Markets practice, is a seasoned financial markets expert with experience in capital markets, structured and financial products, financial regulation, corporate governance, transaction and investment structuring, FinTech and regulatory compliance. His experience will be a great value add to the Firm in its continued dominance of the Capital Markets space in Nigeria. Furthermore, his familiarity with the FinTech sector will prove extremely useful to our FinTech clients.

Ajibola was Head, Legal & Company Secretariat at FMDQ Group, which comprises an exchange, a central clearing house, a central securities depository, a secondary marketplace, and a financial markets technology solutions company.
Before his time at the FMDQ Group, Ajibola worked at Aluko & Oyebode from November 2012 to October 2014.
He is an alumnus of the University of Wolverhampton and the University of Birmingham. He is admitted to the Nigerian Bar.
