Aluko & Oyebode is pleased to have advised MTN Nigeria Communications Plc on the establishment of its ₦200,000,000,000.00 Bond Issuance Programme and the issuance of the ₦110,000,000,000.00 Series 1 Bonds. The Transaction is the first bond issuance by a Nigerian telecommunications company and one of the largest bond issues by a corporate entity in the Nigerian market.
The Firm acted as Solicitor to the Issue and its transaction team was led by two of the Partners of the Firm, Kofo Dosekun and Ayodeji Oyetunde and Associates, Chiderah Azodoh and Damilola Adesanya.
