Aluko & Oyebode is pleased to have advised Orange Digital Ventures LLC (ODV), a strategic corporate venture fund of the Orange Group, on the US$1.5 Million seed investment round in Youcheck Online Services Limited (Youverify). The investment forms part of the €50 million African corporate venture fund launched by ODV to boost Africa’s mobile & technology revolution.
The investment round would help Youverify improve its technology and accelerate business development in Nigeria and the African continent.
The Firm’s team on the transaction included: Sumbo Akintola (Partner), Ina Arome (Senior Associate), Motunrayo Ope-Ogunseitan (Associate) and Tobenna Igweonu (Associate).
