We are pleased to announce the appointment of our Intellectual Property Partner, Uche Nwokocha, to the Board of the International Trademark Association (INTA), for a 3-year period, commencing January 2018. Uche manages the Intellectual Property portfolio of the Firm, where she advises clients on the full range of brand-related matters including trademark clearance, exploitation, acquisition, protection, and enforcement.
The INTA Board is the chief elected body of the Association and represents the members’ interests in the Association and is the guardian of its assets. The INTA Board is the policy-setting body of the Association and the advisor of the Chief Executive Officer. The INTA Board plans for the future of the Association. It also develops and approves policies defining how the Association will operate.
