Aluko & Oyebode is pleased to announce the appointment of Reginald Udom as the Managing Partner of the Firm, effective January 1st, 2021.
Also effective January 1st, Kofo Dosekun, the current Managing Partner, will become the Chair of the Firm’s Management Board, while current Chairman, Gbenga Oyebode, will stay actively involved as an “Of Counsel”.

Reginald has over 18 years’ experience in international debt finance transactions having joined Aluko & Oyebode as a law graduate. He focuses on finance, energy, and infrastructure, and has advised sponsors, lenders, issuers, underwriters, and borrowers in a number of projects involving LNG plants, power, oil and gas assets, real estate, cement plants, and steel mills. A partner for the past 10 years, Reginald is already a member of the firm’s Management Board.
He obtained his LL.B. in 2000 from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. He subsequently obtained an LL.M. degree from University College London. He is consistently ranked by IFLR 1000 (The Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms) as a Highly Regarded Lawyer. He has also been described in Chambers Global as “efficient and thorough”.
